Privacy & website policies.

Trust includes being clear about how information is shared, how nominations are handled, and the independent status of every listed business.

Effective September 24, 2026

Information you provide

CCC forms ask only for information needed to review cleaner applications, chapter-leader applications, and community-cleaning nominations. The forms prepare an email on your device; information is not sent until you review and send that email.

Who receives it

Cleaner applications and nominations may be sent to the selected county’s chapter leader and copied to CCC. Chapter-leader applications are sent to CCC. Information is used only for review, follow-up, directory administration, chapter operations, safety, and community-cleaning coordination.

Nominee privacy and consent

Please submit only necessary information that you have permission to share. Do not provide private medical, financial, legal, or similarly sensitive details. A nominee’s name, address, photographs, or story will not be published without separate permission. Submission does not guarantee selection.

Data use and choices

CCC does not sell application, member, nominee, or audience information. Information may be retained as reasonably needed for review, follow-up, recordkeeping, safety, or legal obligations. To request a correction or deletion, email countycleanerconnection@gmail.com.

Independent-business disclaimer

Businesses listed in CCC directories are independently owned and operated. CCC does not employ, supervise, guarantee, or insure their services. Each business is responsible for its own pricing, work, staff, policies, licensing, bonding, insurance, safety practices, and client agreements.

Sponsorship and nonprofit status

Sponsor recognition does not give a sponsor control over cleaner selection, recipient selection, or cleaning operations. CCC is currently fundraising toward becoming an official nonprofit and will not describe contributions as tax deductible unless that status and treatment are confirmed.
